Suspect Number 5 eliminated.
Larry Fisher
The 80''s were a tumultuous time in central Mississippi, from the high-profile case of Larry Tiffee, a wealthy businessman from Arkansas who is believed to have been killed in a murder-for-hire scheme cooked up by his wife, Gloria Sanders Tiffee, to the deaths of two innocent teenage girls who were kidnapped and murdered in Meridian Mississippi, the disappearance of Shondra May only added to the heightened fear.
If you were a female, you were not to stop for any law enforcement officers, but rather put on your emergency blinkers and go to the nearest well-lit, public place to pull over.
Around the same as Shondra May's Disappearance, Melinda Gail Weathers and Carol Jean Fomby, from Meridian, Mississippi were found murdered.
Larry Fisher, dubbed "The Blue Light Killer" was arrested and indicted on charges of capital murder in their deaths.
Because of similarities; like the fact that some of the murdered girls, like Shondra, worked at fast food restaurants, people theorized that Shondra had been murdered by Larry Fisher.
Giving more credence to that story was the fact that Shondra's driver's license was missing, which meant she may have been pulled over by someone posing as LE.
However, Larry Fisher was in jail in Meridian Mississippi during the time Shondra Disappeared, eliminating him as a suspect.
However, it does not mean the Larry Fisher case did not give some other predator ideas.
